I’m not the average yoga teacher

What does that mean?

With more than a decade of practice, 1300+ hours of teaching experience and many - many - more hours spent in research and further education, I have learned so much!  My evolution as a yoga teacher AND student is reflected in every one of my offerings.

In designing classes, I combine elements of Hatha Yoga (the yoga of “force” or “movement”) with modern somatic and mental health therapies, modalities, and language relevant to our Australian culture. My secular approach to teaching allows students to explore, experience, and express in ways that feel the most safe and appropriate for them.

INTEGRITY - It is very important to me that I teach within my scope of practice and from honest and humble intentions. I do not claim to be a yogic purist.

INCLUSION - I will tailor practices and poses as best I can to meet your abilities and needs so that you may breathe • move • soothe with confidence.

I’m a mumma. It’s such a precious gift.


I’m a woman gracefully accepting
being in her forties. Quick to smile and laugh, I’m passionate, goofy, nerdy, and a little bit plump.


I play the piano,
lose myself in fantasy novels,
love a well-spiced dirty chai latte,
and scream wild support when
my beloved Tigers are on the footy field.


I’m a second generation Aussie
from European stock
and sometimes, at random,
a “bit of bogan” bursts out.


I have a tattoo on my leg
with my children’s names
sprouting in order of their
glorious entrances into this world.


I crave connection with
the ocean and the bush,
and immerse myself often in nature.


I’m highly amused by the antics of cats,
especially those of my two silly kitties.


Oh, and if you hadn’t already guessed,
butterflies are my “spirit animal”.
